About
New Zealand Cattle Hoof Trimmers Association
Making a change.
" Together everyone achieves more"
In 2023 a group of professional hoof trimmers came together to form the New Zealand Cattle Hoof Trimmers Association. With more than 4.8 million cows in New Zealand and an industry that is growing faster year on year, they saw the need for a space where professional hoof trimmers can come together to share ideas and experiences, to create a more sustainable future for their profession. The NZCHTA provides a platform for hoof trimmers and industry professionals to network and work together to achieve better outcomes for the industry.
The NZCHTA mission is to promote animal health and welfare by creating and maintaining a standard in hoof care throughout New Zealand.
"Do what we do, better".
The New Zealand Cattle Hoof Trimmers Association focus on keeping up with the latest developments in the world of hoof trimming through working together with local and international experts in their respective fields. We encourage our members to constantly challenge themselves through continuous learning and upskilling to maintain the highest standard of hoof trimming. We support each other to become better at what we do.
